Domain extensions

There are different types of extensions:

• ccTLD’s (countrycode top level domains – for example .nl for the Netherlands and .be for Belgium)
• gTLD’s (generic top level domains – for example .com, .info, .biz, .mobi, .name, .org, .net etc.)
• New gTLD’s (see explanation below)

There are hundreds of additional meaningful generic top level domains available.
There are many new options for catchy domain names in categories such as target groups, cities, cultures, religions, health, hobbies, etc.
There are websites that end with brand names or end with cities such as .AMSTERDAM and .BERLIN.
Extensions for target groups such as .ART; for products, for example .AUTO or .FOOD and more general extensions such as .TRAVEL, .RECIPE and .WEBSITE.
